Today we read about the book meme:

We picked up the book, Devotional Classics, edited by Richard J. Foster and James Bryan Smith. It's a big, thick book and furry heavy. Turning to the fifth sentence on page 123 we find,
His writing have had a great influence on the spirituality of the Eastern church. He was well versed in Greek philosophy, notably Platonism and Stoicism, but the basis of his thought was rooted in the Bible. Gregory believed that the main use of the Bible was not for historical reflection but rather for growth in virtue.
Mombean loves these sorts of books that deal with what goes on at the steepel place. We think Platonism, Stoicism, and Gregory would be super names for us cats.

oh my that is very complicated for us kitties. we only reads easy books. actually ok...we don't read, we just lay around and relaks all day. how nice, right? :)

I would prefer Epicureanism. When you can have warm soft bed and gourmet meals, who needs Stoicism. That's straight from a kitty's mouth. Next Temptation, please!
