Do you have any idea where in NYC that Olivia is staying?? Those people that you took Olivia to, should give you more information. That is terrible. Don't give up. If you can find out about where in NY that she is, I can write some of my friends up there.
Your Auction is ending tonight. So this week people will be making payments to your Chip in. I just need you to let me know when someone makes a payment so I can have the item sent.
Good luck with Olivia.

Oh dear--good luck on finding that out. Jeter Harris' mom is in New York--if no one else knows of someone, perhaps you can reach out to her via their blog?

If you still have a phone or email address for these people, you could just make a follow-up "just checking in" to try to find out what is happening. Sometimes life just changes, regardless of the peoples plans.

If they took Olivia with them, it sounds like they were at least trying to take care of her.

PS: I Have Cat is in New York, and Tamar seems to have a lot of cat-related contacts.

LEE County Chowder. The reason we are so upset is that we allowed her to be adopted by a a couple in NC just abt 2 hours from where we are in SC. Then without our permission (and violating the terms of our contract) they gave her to family members who live out on Long Island, NY. THAT is why we are so upset. These are NOT the people whom we approved for adopting her.

That's horrible! Poor Olivia! We have no contacts there, but see that several commenters do or mention others in that area. Please contact them via their blogs or email to find someone who can check on Olivia's situation. With all you are going through, this is just more than you should have to deal with.

Purrs to little Annie.

Hi friends,

We don't know a lot of rescues on Long Island, but will put out some feelers with our rescue pals here in the Northeast. Maybe, just maybe someone knows someone in that area that can help!

We'll be in touch soon.

Hugs!

Hi All, Mombean is working with Olivia's new "owners" to help her adjust. She seems to be eating, drinking, etc. She has even take some treats from their hands. So Mombean won't be bring in the rescues. She has made contact with some one who has a small animal behavior consultant practice as well as being a former Russian Blue breeder and still owns and loves Russian Blues.

I think the best thing to do is indeed to contact these people, tell them that your siutation changed and that you would like to take Olivia back. They will be compelled to tell you where she is (or they will tell you a lie...).

This not knowing where she is must be horrible, I am really feeling with you!

Good luck!

Looloo, We know exactly where Olivia is and we are in contact with her new owners. In fact Mombean has spoken with them on the phone. Please lets not make this a rescue just yet. We are doing our best to help Olivia.

It's a good thing you know where she is. Do you think she is in good hands? That would make things easier, no? I suggested to say you wanted to take Olivia back, just to force these people to say where she is now. How did you find out, by the way?

I just hope everything is ok for you and for Olivia. Maybe she's happier where she is now than with the other persons...

Good luck for everything!
