Annie was getting so thin and this morning she did not eat or drink. Alas, we had to make the very hard decision to have put her to sleep at the vets. For those who don't know, Annie was our first Russian Black breeding female. She turned 10 years old in June. We got Annie as a half grown 7 month old kitten. Alexi took to her immediately thinking that this was a new play toy or something to love. They were best friends who shared nursing duties for their litters. Annie was very healthy until she was diagnosed with the squamous cell carcinoma. We will put together more information and pictures about Annie but for now:

I had to put my sweet black cat, Woody, down on July 4. He was also 10 years old and same thing...oral cancer. With only one indoor cat now, it is painfully quiet.
Annie is now pain free and probably eating up a storm! Please ask her to say hi to Woody for me.
