FANK YOU Efuury kitty and bean that came to my purrthday drop-in party! FANKS ALSO for all the purrthday wishes!! The party was grate! The chatzy chat was wuunderful, too! Glad so many could drop in to wish me Happy Purrthday!

We is also so relieved that Mom Laura is reunited with her furbabies, Lili Lu, Mu Shue, and Iris! We knoew she was worried about dem! We is hoping that the kitties will have good check ups at the v-e-t!!

Hi All, My beans are home. So we will be starting the party soon!!! I hope some of you will come by  to visit. It is a gorgeous Sunday afternoon here! The windows are open for the spring breezes. We can hear the birdies talkin' and singin'.   We will be opening up the chat room at the Castle as well.  So come on over there, too!  There is lots to do and plenty of food including my favorite- SALMON!!! We  will also have ham for Miles !   On the menu is chick-hen, toonie, kitty kaviar, temptations and feline greenies!  As always, we will be serving the infamous cat blogosphere niptinis!!

Alexi's Puuurrthday drop-in party!!!!

Hi All,

I am getting egcited about my purthday party! Are you coming? Mom Bean and Blu Cat Man are planning lots of treats and fun for us!  The main room at the Castle has a large picture window with a long, wide windowsill- a grat spot for napping, chatting and looking out on the world ! Several cats fit on the windowsill.  There is mantel,  entertainment center (ack! whose say we ain't enturtaining??), and a tall book case for  yur jumping pleasure.  Of course a comfy couch for  cozy cuddling and naps!  There will be refreshmants including niptinis!  Please come by and we can chat about anything you all want.

Easy Like Sunday Morning

Today is my purrfday! I'm taking it easy, however, I do want to invite efurrycat to drop by the Castle for a purrfday drop-in. We will have refreshments, and hope to have good news about Mu Shue, Lilly Lu, and Iris. Of course, we will want to pawse to remember Miral who fought courageously to conquer her illness. If you want to come, please do. In the mean time enjoy these!

Mom Laura's apartment was completely destroyed in a fire Friday 4/11/08. She lost everything and is currently homeless. We purr and pray for Lilly Lu, Mu Shue & Iris, Mom Laura and her twins during his horrible time. Go to their bloggie, or the Cat Blogosphere for updates.

Today we read about the book meme:

No one tagged us but Blu Cat Man is a 'brarian so naturally I had to play:

1.Pick up the nearest book.

2.Open to page 123

3. Find the fifth sentence.

We picked up the book, Devotional Classics, edited by Richard J. Foster and James Bryan Smith.   It's a big, thick book and furry heavy.  Turning to the fifth sentence on page 123 we find,

His writing have had a great influence on the spirituality of the Eastern church.  He was well versed in Greek philosophy, notably Platonism and Stoicism, but the basis  of his thought was rooted in the Bible.  Gregory believed that the main use of the Bible was not for historical reflection but rather for growth in virtue.

Mombean loves these sorts of books that deal with what goes on at the steepel place.  We think Platonism, Stoicism, and Gregory would be super names for us cats.

Good morning, efurrykitty.
At the Castle, we are purrrticipatin' in Photo Hunters dis week! Today, I want to talk 'bout glass-this week's theme.

Glass in the form of winders is gud. The pichure is of one of our kittens looking out der window. With winders, we can look at things owtside and not haf to worry wif bugs. Course, some of us likes bugs ..........to eat. Crunchy owtside, soft, chewy inside.

We likes to looks at birdies, squirrls, other kitties and imagine what it is like to be owt in it. Our beans say we like to watch Bird TV. Dis is better den whut dey watsches. Glass is gud. I recommend glass to efurrycat.
