We are so proud of ourselves and our beans are even more proud of us. We went to an American Cat Fanciers Association show at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Centernear Concord, North Carolina this weekend. Before we went, Herbie and I both had to have our claws clipped and we had to take a b-a-t-h! NOT FUN! However it was worth it as I was in seven finals and my son, Herbie, was in four finals. He is now a Grand Champion in ACFA!!! I am so proud of him!! I need one more All Breed final with a fifth place finish or better to be a Grand Champion.
At the Castle, we like water very much and we like to drink it fresh--straight from the faucet. Sometimes it's difficult to get to the faucet due to the crowd already there.
I usually do get to the faucet and I have the fresh water all to myself.
I am just fascinated with water; where it comes from and where it goes. I also try figure out the beans' insistence in getting in the water. They must be crazy!
So I touch it to see what the water sensation feels like on my paw.
Usually, though, I get wet, but to drink the fresh water, I endure it.
Alexi says: Blu Cat Man noticed that Evita was not feeling good last night. So Mombean took Evita to the v-e-t this morning. There, she was examined by our v-e-t. She is dehydrated. They ran bloodwork on Evita, too. Her kidneys are not working very well. She will be at the v-e-t-s overnight getting fluids. Puurs and puurayers for my Mombean and Daddy (Blu Cat Man) that they make the right choice and not let Evita suffer. Evita has lived a good long life. She is eleven years old almost twelve.
