Annie update: she is still with us

Hi All, I think I over reacted  to the bleeding when she gets her antibiotics.  I hate that her mouth sometimes. It must hurt. SO we took Annie to our vet this afternoon.  He said if she is till wanting to groom and is licking her food, it is not her time. Instead we got more antibiotics. We don't how much longer we have with her but we love her until the end.

Thank goodness! My woman was awake all night worrying about sweet Annie going to the Bridge so soon. And we are so glad to see those in the CB who can help stepping up for your kitties. We are purring for Annie to continue to feel well and not have hurties from the A/Bs. And purrs for another job for the mom.

PS: Are you still located in South Carolina?

PS2: There are a number of organizations that help pay expenses for seriously ill pets. There is also Care Credit that has a range of payment plans with low monthly paments for any health care expense - people or animals.

You might want to join the yahoo group for feline cancer for support and to know what to expect. http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/feline-cancer/
Their face page also lists many sites that have reliable information.

Love and purrs, Laura & Taffy

Hi, I have just recently come across your blog because of "Sweet Purrfections". I know this is not my business but i feel like you shouldn't have to give up your kitties to a shelter. One thing I have seen in the cat blogosphere is a lot of people come together to help. If you need help and I think you do, ask for it on the blog and set up a paypal or chip-in account. If even a few people contribute (and I know they would) it will help you. The cats should remain with you. Annie needs to be cared for until the end. The remaining felines will need you, not a cold hard cage in a shelter. Please, I know this is a confusing and frightening time but people out there will help you.

We's all glad Annie is still wif you, still wif us.
I's getting ready to do an auction for sweet Annie and the whole fambly, to keep them togetfur.
Iffen anyone has items to donate, please email me, kc AT catblogosphere DOT com. You can send me a photo of the item or items and a brief description.
You also need to consider postage costs. We always try to pick small items that won't cost a small fortune to mail. You might want to figure in your postage costs in the bid.
Overseas bidders are usually happy to pay the extra $$$ it costs to send to them.
Fink about this effurryone, and iffen you haf any suggestions, let us know.
Love & Purrs,
KC

We are purring for Annie. What a scary time for your whole family!

I've been through job loss and wondering how my cat family would be fed. It's terrifying, and I know you want them to be safe and cared for. Please consider setting up a chipin or letting us arrange to send you a petsmart gift card or something to help you keep your cats with you while you figure out what you'll do with your job.
