Mom haf learned to go piddle afore she sits down on da couch cuz she knows she will haf at least one kitty napping on her fur hours. When she furgets and hasta get up we complain loudly until she comes back, just so she amembers da next time.

So true! My cat is not much of a lap cat -- he's actually more like a dog and lies at my feet. But if he does deign to sit on my lap my husband brings everything to me that I need so as not to disturb the cat. But the bathroom is a major necessity.
That's so true. it is sooo inconsiderate. And if it's not the toilet it's wanting a drink.
