Well, supposedly, Cats minds are very similar (although superior) to human minds. So just like humans tend to ignore things they don't particularly care to hear, Cats also ignore things they don't care to hear. I'll come when called, if it suits me. I know a lot of words. Whether I choose to act on them or not is an entirely different matter.
Here here! Dad will just keep yabbering at us to get down, don't chew that, get out of der, blah, blah, blah...mom don't do dat so much she just MAKES us stop what we'z doing.
