Update--Annie sighting

Mombean and the Blu Cat Man have news to report about Annie. She was sighted this evening! They had been out and before going into the house, they called and heard Annie's typical greeting. They saw an outline of a cat on top of the trash roll cart who jumped down under the outside table. Mombean ran in and turned on the spotlights and the Blu Cat Man saw Annie with her collar. He made the mistake of approaching and she ran. They've put out her favorite salmon and dry food. We hope this might lure her back home.

We're still purring and purraying for Annie and Maobert to come home to their families. We are sure we speak for Maobert's family in that we cannot begin to express our amazement (though we shouldn't be surprised) at the outpouring of concern and compassion from the Cat Blogosphere kitties and beans. We at the Castle cannot express the comfort we have felt from your prayers and purrs nor our gratitude. You don't know what a blessing you are. We love Poppy Q's idea for a feline Amber Alert. We are hoping Annie will return and believe she will. We pray that Maobert will return to his family. We will keep you posted and love you all. Purrs and headbumpies from us and hugs from our beans.

Oh, how relieved you must have been to see Annie! This is such good news; maybe this means she's ready to come home now.

It really is truly amazing how Cat Blogosphere kitties and beans help and support each other. In the year that we've belonged to this amazing group, it feels as if we have a second family.

Love & Purrs

Oh, some good news at last! It's great that Annie's hasn't wandered too far from your place. Hang in there, you just might have to be patient for a little while, as the whole being outside experience would be pretty scary for an indoor kitty.

That's grate noos that Annie is close to home. Momma sed yu shood sit owtside and talk to Annie and wait fur her to come to yu. That's whut Momma did when I was a feral kitten liffing in the hedge. When she tried to catch me, I runned away. But when she dint move, I came to her.

I am so glad that you saw Annie and that she is close to home and well. Tiger has a great idea about sitting very still outside and talking to her. The sound of your voice will reassure her and it could draw her to you.

Excellent news that she is nearby. I sure hope she allows you to gather her into your arms and take her back indoors where she'll be safe. (The cat trap idea is a good one, too, if she seems stubborn about it all!)

We'll keep purring and praying...

I am so happy that Annie has been spotted. It's very good that she is hanging around close to home. I hope it is not too much longer before she is back safely inside.

A sighting is a good sign ... it means she knows where home is. Hopefully she'll find her home, then remember who you are and not be scared. We worried all day yesterday for you and Annie. Hope she comes in tonight!

Oh - this is good news! We are just coming from Skeezix site and unfortunately no one has seen Mao...
We so hope you can lure Annie in! Anastasia was like that - when she didn't want to come in she wouldn't! The staff wold then take Karl up in their arms and tell him about the shrimp he will get and take him in and usually she would show up a bit later! Approaching her never worked!
We keep purring and purring!!!!!

Amber Alert for pets is an awesome idea, we'll head over to Poppy's site and check it out!

Good news. Annie is still safe and close.

Is there a porch or someplace where you could put some food for her but the others couldn't get out? Maybe she would be more willing to go into a place with an open door.

Remember - anything's fair when it comes to getting a kittie back into the house. Grab her by the tail, if that is all you can get. You can apologize to her once she's safely inside.
