Chrissymouse eve pawty!

YAY! we luvz a GRATE pawty! This is wondyfull pawty on Chrissymouse eve!

Good morning! Efurryone has left the party and our beans will be cleaning up today. Those who spent the night in the castle will be treated to breakfast before leaving for their homes. We are glad that efurryone had a good time. Same time next year? Happy Advent and Merry Chrissymouse!

Bright Star of Bethlehem!

This song was sung and composed by Melanie McMillan, furriend of our beans. In fact, she visited the castle yesterday and played with the kittens. Mombean loves it and thinks it will become a Christmas Classic at the Castle. Since Gaudete Sunday is all about rejoicing that the lord is near, Mombean thought efurryone might enjoy hearing it.

Happy Halloween!

From all of us kittens and beans at the Castle!!! Hope efurryone stays safe this Halloween especially our black kitteh friends. Mombean wanted to share with efurryone the origins of Halloween. Ok Mombean - all yours!

The evening of October 31st (today) is known as Halloween in many English speaking countries. The word "Halloween" is an Old Anglo-Saxon contraction of "All Hallows Eve". This old designation recognizes that the next two days, Nov. 1 and 2 are holy days in the Christian church. Nov. 1 is All Saints Day and Nov. 2 is All Souls Day -also known as Commemoration of the Faithful Departed. Momma Monday!

Those kitties that are our FB furriends already know that Olivia hadded 5 kittens last Wednesday Sept. 21st. Yep. Olivia birthed 5 kittens while da beans were at the steeple place doing some meowing (i fink hoomans call it singing). Olivia and Teddy are proud parents of 5 babies- 3 black and 2 blue. Here are some pickyshurs for your enjoyment.
