Concatulations to Dani and Galletta!!!!

Concatulations to Dani and Galletta for their excellent performance at a TICA (The International Cat Association) show in Jamestown, NC! They did really well. Dani received two finals, a 4th best and 2nd best alter, while Galletta received three finals, two 4th best alters and a best alter. YAY! One highlight for Galletta was meeting his breed's founder, Cora Cobb, and her husband, John! Efun Sandy Claws made an appearance! It was an wonderful, but very long day for them and our beans.

P.S. The Gaudete Sunday party, usually scheduled for the third Sunday in Advent will be rescheduled as a party for some other holiday in the near future!!! (Our beans are worn out and today is a busy day fur Blu Cat Man).

Cat show report by Galletta -- second day

Me is prowd to repurt that Mallory and me did really good today. Mallory gotted another best New Breed or Color award and I gotted another best Household Pet final!! I also gotted a 6th, 5th, 8th, and 4th long hair Household pet awards.

Alexi gotted notice that she was 20th best alter in the Southeast region (what's a region?) and, best of all, she gotted best Russian Blue Alter InterAmerican award. YAY for us all!!!

First day of cat show reported by Galletta:

Me had very good day at cat show! Beans proud of me as I gotted two best Household Pet awards! Yay for me! Mallory gotted one best New Breed or Color. Me also turned into America's best top Nebelung model when photographed by Preston Smith! All judges liked me! They really like me! Me really big mancat and look forward to tomorrow's judging!

My beans are home!

Blu Cat Man and Mombean went to a cat show in Kansas this past weekend. They took Olivia with them. She is a very good traveller. The show was in Leavenworth and they stayed in Platte City, Missouri which is very near Kansas City. It snowed there and was very cold. We'll have photographs posted soon. We're glad they're home.

Mombeam and Blu Cat Man took us to Eustis, Florida this past weekend for an American Cat Fancier Association show put on by the Maine Street Cat Fanciers club. It was advertised as a Holiday Spe-Cat-ular! Mombean and Blu Cat Man are so pleased that we did so well. Olivia received eight finals as a New Breed or Color (she's a Russian Black). It also helped that she was the only one entered in that class! All the judges loved her soft, silky fur. I received four finals. I'm happy but was embarassed and insulted that one judge made a comment about my weight. I 'm not fat but pleasantly plump!! Some visitors thought I was tiny and were surprised to learn that I'm a grandma. Dani received five finals and is now a Grand Champion in ACFA!! YAY! On the way back, Mombeam and Blu Cat Man ate dinner in St. Mary's, Georgia, which is a very pretty little town. The next morning, we were left in the car while they walked around Savannah!!! Bummer. They also ate at The Lady and Sons which is Paula Deen's restaurant. While there they saw Jamie Deen!!! All we saw was the tailgate of the car. WAAH!

We're glad to be home and are taking a well deserved LOOONNG cat nap!!

Molly, left, and Mr. Blue Collar, above, went to a cat show in Raleigh, NC this past weekend. They behaved themselves wonderfully well and Mr. Blue Collar got a final in which he place 5th best kitten! Mombean and Blu Cat Man are very pleased and proud!

Cat show!

Hi, efurrycats! Mommy and Daddy have entered me in a CFA cat show in Florence, SC. It will be on Saturday, September 29 at the Florence Civic Center which is just off of I-95 where I-95 and I-20 intersect, Exit 160. It's being put on by the Coastal Paws Cat Club and is called the Darlingtom 400! I hope dat any of you who are in the area might stop by to see me and wish me well!
